Stonechats are one of the commoner species to be seen on heathland ,esp sandy areas,where they love to perch atop the spikes of gorse.
.Other species,inc,, Whitethroat,Linnet, Skylark, Buzzard,Long Tailed Tit,Nuthatch,Siskin,Coal Tit,Wheatear,Marsh/Willow Tit,Tree Creeper,and Woodpecker , Sparrow Hawk and Blackcap.
